Chris Cornell (born Christopher John Boyle; July 20, 1964 Seattle, Washington, United States) is an American rock musician best known as the lead vocalist for Soundgarden. He is also known as the former lead vocalist for Audioslave and for his numerous solo works and soundtrack contributions since 1998.
